ABOUT THE ACADEMY OF PASTRY & CULINARY ARTS MALAYSIA
Founded in 2010 in the heart of Petaling Jaya in Malaysia, The Academy of Pastry Arts Malaysia is known as one the Finest Pastry School in Asia. With 7 Pastry school in Malaysia, India, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore The Academy combines Innovation and Creativity with Modern hands-on approach through its Diploma & Advance Diploma Programs, including specialized professional programs in French pastries, chocolate and bread making.
We are a group of Pastry Chefs and Executive Chefs who have spend years working in hotel kitchens. We formed the Academy of Pastry Arts Group ensuring that students can start a great career right after completing our 9 month advance diploma. We train students, Pastry Teachers and Professionals from more than 35 countries through our full-time program, master classes and pastry forums, While our main focus in the Academy is a specialized, structured training to full time students. In addition, we have expanded our services to on site consultancy and workshops in Asia, Middle East, Europe, North Africa, North America and South America.
From inception, the Academy has believed that the pursuit of excellence in both pastry arts and culinary arts is life long journey; and must be taught by seasoned industry professionals, who understand the needs of a commercial setup.
With an International Campus, it has more than 15 Kitchens, Demonstration Kitchen, Lecture rooms, Library and students Lounge. The faculty features multiple award-winning Chefs, and is a learning utopia for both new students, and experienced professionals alike. We are committed to groom the best, “ready to perform” professionals, entering the industry and related fields.
The Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts Malaysia offers you the rare opportunity to learn the art of pastry and culinary in an intimate setting, being personally mentored by masters in their field. The Academy syllabus was designed to produce kitchen-ready talent, and far exceeds the City & Guilds requirements of which all Academy programmes are accredited by. Paired with small class sizes, and quality hands-on training; the Academy serves as a springboard for many young graduates who are almost immediately snapped up by the industry, or go on to setup businesses of their own. Your skills will be finely honed through hands-on practice and repeated exposure to the best pastry techniques, tools and ingredients.

The Academy’s continued dedication towards this art form, led them to create one of the most anticipated annual pastry events – the Asia Pastry Forum, now in its 7th year. They have also successfully opened three more branches, namely in The Philippines, three (3) in India, Indonesia and Singapore.
ABOUT NIKLESH SHARMA
Executive Pastry Chef, Founder of Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts
Armed with a Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and 20 years in the industry, Chef Niklesh Sharma is the founder of the APCA group and manages all operations Malaysia India, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. He is the former Executive Pastry Chef of Renaissance Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Chef Niklesh is known as a meticulous planner with a strong hands-on approach and his ability to manage operations, distributions and events.
He was named Scripps Networks Interactive Choice Awards: Asia’s Pastry Star at the World Gourmet Summit 2015.
